We are delighted to announce that the owners of Orion Registrar have agreed to sell the business to UK-based certification specialists, Amtivo Group.
Amtivo Group specializes in ISO and industry-related certifications, with more than 30,000 certifications worldwide. It operates via a range of strategically important brands, including British Assessment Bureau in the UK, Certification Europe in Ireland and ACM in the Far East.
President of Orion, Paul Burck said “In selecting Amtivo Group I was able to fulfil all of my key ambitions for the future of the business and protecting the interests of our clients, staff and auditors. Crucially, Amtivo has a key strategic aim to expand into the US and will therefore be investing to grow the business further, both organically and through mergers and acquisitions. It plans to do that while retaining all of the existing team and ensuring that Orion’s high standards and excellent service are maintained.”
“Amtivo Group also provides Orion with an immediate growth opportunity to export its ANAB ISO and AA standards through its extensive network across more than 20 countries, primarily across Asia.”
Paul concluded “Having met with the leadership team and investigated their ways of working I am confident that Orion’s clients will not only be in safe hands, but will be able to benefit from a range of additional products and services that can enhance their business.”
In the next few months Orion’s clients and partners can expect to receive further updates from the Amtivo team, explaining what will happen, what the sale means for them and the timescales for any changes to be made. In the meantime it will be business as usual.
Paul Burck will continue working with the Orion team for the foreseeable future.
